Most shoulder bags are bigger than the day needs, so they fill up and get heavy. The Aria holds a phone, a cardholder, keys, and a paperback, then stops. It keeps its shape because the panels are cut from a firmer 1.6mm calfskin and the base is reinforced.
The turn-lock is solid brass and unplated, so it dulls and marks with handling rather than flaking. Black stays black; espresso warms as it wears.
