The base is stiffened so the bag stands on its own, the handles sit at a 24cm drop to clear a coat, and the leather is a heavy 2mm so the sides keep their shape without a bulky lining. The cognac deepens over the first year; black holds its tone and taupe stays quiet.
Made start to finish by one maker, initialled inside, and covered by a lifetime repair service.
